StrongBodies Classes for Women and Men – new classes start 2nd week of January

Reflecting its broadened scope and audience, StrongBodies is the new name for the former StrongWomen and Strong Bones programs. Strong Bodies logo

This strength-training program is for both women and men, with an emphasis on those 40 years of age and older. Previous classes have included participants in their 70s and 80s. In addition to building stronger bones, the program increases strength, flexibility, and balance.

Classes in Gilman, Goodrich, Medford, and Rib Lake start the week of January 8 and will be held twice a week for nine weeks The fee is $15 for all nine weeks.

Preregistration is required. New participants 70 years of age and over will need written doctor’s permission.

Gilman: Taylor County Meeting Room

Monday/Thursday
9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Goodrich: Town Hall

Monday/Wednesday
9:00 – 10 a.m.

Medford: Multi-purpose Room at the Fairgrounds

Monday/Wednesday (Advanced Class – must have taken at least one previous class)
8:30 – 9:30 a.m.

Monday/Wednesday
4:14 – 5:15 p.m.

Tuesday/Thursday
8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Rib Lake: Senior Site

Tuesday/Thursday
8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
