Forms for Taylor County Fair

 

The Taylor County Fair is governered by the Taylor County Board.  If you have any questions, please see the directors or call the fair office at 715-785-8049 or 715-748-3348.

  • Fair Entry Form (.pdf)
    • The fair entry blanks and books will be available in early May at the UWEX office for 4-H clubs to pick up.  If you miss the club meeting where the entries and books are distributed, be sure to call quickly to set up a time with your general leader when you can pick them up.
    • Due:  First week in June
  • Fair Stay Policy (.pdf)
    • Youth who feel they must stay on the fairgrounds (in trailer, etc.) overnight at the fair must sign this agreement, along with a parent’s/guardian’s signature and submit the completed form to the UWEX by the Friday, the week before fair starts or you will not be allowed to stay at the fair overnight.
    • Due:  Friday, the week before fair starts
  • Fair Uniform Recipes (.pdf)
    • Recipes marked wtih an * are in 4-H literature.  Recipes marked with ** are in fair uniform recipes listing.  Attach recipe for all other entries.  All recipes are from scratch unless indicated otherwise.
    • Due:  At the fair
  • Managerial Agreement Form (.pdf)
    • If the animal that is going to be exhibited is not owned by the exhibitor or whoever lives at the exhibitors primary place of residence (dairy, beef, swine, horse, sheep, goats, dog) then the exhibitor must fill out a managerial contract and send it to the UWEX office.
    • Due:  June 10
  • Affidavit Animal COOL Form (.pdf)
    • COOL forms are required by USDA for animals that enter into the market chain.  Exhibitors who are purchasing animals for their livestock sale project must get documentation from the seller that their animal was born in the United States.
    • Due:  By the Friday, the week before fair week.
  • Horse Registration Certificate (.pdf)
    • ID paperwork of your horse that you will be showing at the fair.  Copies of the coggins paperwork can be turned in at this time, if available.
    • Due:  May 1 – No Exceptions
  • Horse Workshop Record Form (.pdf)
    • In order to show at the Taylor County fair, all youth must attend three events and each horse must attend one event.  Horse shows, drill team and parades can only be counted one time unless participating with a different horse.
  • Fair Book Changes & Suggestions Form (.pdf)
    • Anyone with comments or concerns (changes, corrections, and additions) about the Taylor County fair are welcome to submit ideas to the fair board.  All ideas must be written out and signed by 3 leaders.
    • Due:  December 1 to UWEX office or Fair Manager
